The Linux.org domain was hacked recently, plastered with trolling, incredible filth and anti transgender vandalism.

The Linux.org website was hacked with the hacker plastering the message “G3T 0WNED L1NUX N3RDZ” complete with various expletives and a very NSFW image on the home page.

The admin of the website, Mike McLagan, immediately admitted on Reddit that the vandal had managed to break into his partners registar account at Network Solutions and switch the DNS servers for the Linux.org website.

McLagan also put the blame on himself, for not having added the industry standard multi-factor authetification. Had this been inplace this never would of happened.
